Not gonna lie, a rainbow cake is my favourite kind of cake! M&S does one that is just sooooo good!
This image is from Poppy Power by Marcella Hawley, coloured with my ever trusty promarkers.
I used my silhouette to cut the circle and the banner die cuts. The papers were from a Craft ID pad, layered on a navy card base. Then some orange twine and a little 'rainbow' of gems to finish it off.

Beautiful and fun card, Kez! I love how you mirrored the rainbow cake layers with the rainbow gems along the edge of the circle, this is such a fun card, whether it's for a birthday or any other kind of celebration. Thanks for playing along with us at The Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's fantastic! Your rainbow cake is simply beautiful. It's so lovingly crafted. And the design looks absolutely fabulous. The cake's placement is perfect, and the pennant background is gorgeous. So is the striped paper. The overall design is great too. Everything looks so cheerful, especially because of those different rainbow rhinestones.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this beautiful card in the current Everybody Art Challenge.
Hugs, Uschi
