Fairy Birthday

One of my friends shares her birthday with her daughter next week. I'll be making my friends card in the next few days, but I made this one for her (almost 6 year old) daughter first.

Despite my friend (and most of her immediate circle) being not remotely girly... dresses 95% in black/grey, rarely wears skirts etc... her daughter has somehow turned out to be a proper little girly-girl who loves pink and dresses and make up and tiaras.

I used an image from pollycraft coloured with my promarkers and created the sentiment myself. The papers are from an old set by helz cuppleditch, called Fun Fair, layered on a purple card base. I found a pearlesent star in my stash that was a perfect size to go over the start on her wand, so of course I had to add that! and a little pink/white twine and some pink pearls to finish.

Challenges:
Passion for Markers #705 - Make it Feminine
Pearly Sparkles Challenge #88 - Use at least one: Pink, Pearls and/or Sparkle

  2. My sister shares her birthday with her daughter too, and to top that off, my own daughter was born on the same day, making it 3 in the same family. Your card is perfect for a 6 year old princess. Wonderful colours, and that star finishes it off beautifully. Thanks for sharing this with us at Passion for Markers!

Have A Great Day

How cute is this wee pupper from digi doodle shop. I've had him cut out waiting for me to decide what to do with him for aaaaages! I finally coloured him with my promarkers and decided on this side stepper card. The various elements were cut on my cameo. The paper is from the Nit Wit Paws-ativity collection. I stamped and cut the sentiment by hand and added it to the tree with a bit of twine, to make it look kinda like a swing (and it does swing, side to side at least, lol). Meowy Christmas Kitty

I picked this from All Dressed Up after winning two of their beautiful images from an Outlawz challenge. Friends of mine just got a new kitten and this will be perfect for them for xmas. I coloured the image with my promarkers and used papers from hobbycrafts traditional chrismtas pack. The stocking embellishment came from the matching embellishment set. The sentiment was stamped from a set I was given a while ago. Baubles and Bells

So as my ankle proceed to get more painful not less, I went to A&E. After some blood tests and x-ray and a lot of socially distanced sitting around, the doctor ruled out everything else, so agrees with me that it's probably the tendons, but other than to continue with painkillers the only 'cure' is physio... which, is problematic at the moment for obvious reasons. Oh well, we'll see. It is making sitting in my craft room awkward because I'm supposed to keep my foot elevated as much as possible - but I did manage to get my craft on today. If with a small amount of pain. Ah well, art is pain, right? I went with one of my non-traditional paper packs, from hobbycraft. Teal shades are some of my favourites! I coloured the stamps from bugaboo with my promarkers - there is another from the set, a snowflake, which is inside the card, but I forgot to take a picture of that, oops! The frames were cut on my cameo and of course, I couldn't resist the gems... although I ...
