A Little Batty

This will be the last card I post for a while. Tomorrow I leave for a 3 week 'holiday' - pet sitting for friends who are going to Disney World - and won't have access to my stash. Sad. I really didn't have time to make this today, but I carved a little time in the madness of packing to make it. The card base is black. I inked the background with several shades of blue and a little purple, and yellow around the moon. The moon and bats were cut on my cameo and the sentiment stamped from stampin' up. Despite not having much practice with inking this way, I was pleased with how it turned out. Autumn...

The leaves and quote came from a set sweet and sassy. I used my cameo to fussy cut the leaves and cut the sentiment on the oval. The stars are wooden embellishments from my stash. And the paper is make and create. I added a few pearls. It's layered on a kraft card base. Seasons Greetings

I used this gorgeous stitchy bear image again  for this card. The papers are a dovecraft pack from a few years ago, back to basics christmas which was perfect when I saw the colour scheme for 52cct this week. I used brown card under the starburst and layered it on green, on a white card base. I used a bit of ribbon from my stash, as well as a few brown pearls. Drinking in a Wine-ter Wonderland

I already know exactly who is getting this christmas card! I picked this set up on ali express, or maybe temu...  Coloured with my promarkers and mounted on green, on a white card base. Added the twine and gems to finish. Challenges: Less is More  #491 - Anything Goes  Simply Create Too Challenge #194 - Use Stamps

kitten mischief

How cute are these kitties from digi doodle shop? I coloured it with my promarkers and stamped the sentiment. The papers are from hobbycraft, as are the santa bows, the red ribbon behind them was just from my stash. I added the holly die cut from my box of random die cuts and gems for the berries, as well as a a few other small gems to finish. santa's reindeer

I cut the tree border ages ago, when I was cutting some other stuff and it's been sat in my box of random die cuts since then. I thought it was perfect for this weeks MFT sketch. I inked the background with a sort of... dusky night sky (at least thats what I was aiming for lol!) and cut the santa and reindeers on my cameo. The 'stars' are just my metalic silver promarker and I stamped the sentiment from stamping up and added a couple of gems. Merry Christmas Deer

The paper in the background is from hobbycraft enchanted forest pack and the wood paper is from craft sensation. the circle was cut into the card base on the cameo, when I cut the base and the reindeer was also cut on there.  The sentiment is a wooden one from my stash and I added a bit of twine as a bow on the reindeer and some gems. Winter Greetings

A nice simple christmas card this time. I used stamps from sizzix and a sentiment from a freebie set I have. I layered the white on a blue card base and added - yes they are back - gems (clings to gems - not using them on the last two cards felt so wrong). Challenges: Christmas Craft Creations - Clean and Simple Creative Knockouts #503 - Your Favourite Embellishment (gems!gems!gems!)

Stork Delivery

The cutest delivery you'll ever get. This little delivery driver (flyer) comes from digital delights by loubyloo. I coloured with my promarkers. The sentiment was two stamps from a stamp set of sentiments, I have no idea where I picked it up. The little peg stamp came from another set, that i'm fairly sure was a freebie at some point. I cut the yellow frame on my cameo and mounted it all on a slate gray base card using sticky pads to give the stork a little pop. And look, not gems... okay, pearls, but that makes two cards in a row that technically don't have gems *looks shifty*. Warm Wishes

The sketch from Jingle Belles immediately caught my eye this week and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I cut the circle and hexagon on my cameo, on kraft card and papers from hobbycraft, but the cup is fussy cut from stampin up's perfect blend set. I used white base, kraft card over the cup parts and a spare scrap of paper for the sleeve. The sentiment was from a Marianne Design set I got in a magazine a million years ago. This is probably the first time in ages I've made a card without using my promarkers or without... adding gems! *gasp* - I honestly planned too, but I thought it didn't really need them. Blue Holidays

A friend and I were out for coffee a couple of days ago and of course as christmas stuff is coming out, we found some, including some lovely packing tape. I didn't buy it, but it did inspire this card. The image is Kenny K, coloured with my promarkers. I really love how she turned out! The sentiment was just typed. The papers were from a make and create pack called snowy daze. I think I picked it up a couple of years ago. I added some gems, and a couple of snow flake embellishments from my stash to complete it. Challenges:  Through the Purple Haze #208 - Monochrome Art Impressions - Feeling Blue Little Red Wagon #721 - Square or Rectangle (Weirdly, I probably make more rectangle cards, but I like square better!)

Meowy Christmas

I'm not going to lie, I have no idea where this stamp came from. It was from a bunch a friend gave me. I coloured it with my promarkers and used a few scraps of papers to paper piece the pot. I added some twine and a couple of little bells (which do jingle!) to embellish.  Challenges: Addicted to CAS #245 - Holiday Craft Rocket Challenges #107 - CAS Krafty Chicks #680 - Stamp Act

Grateful for You

I just adore this poppy image from Aurora Wings and I've used it multiple times over the years. This is the first time I've it up though! I wanted to keep it super simple, so I cut it to fit this film strip, cup on me cameo, stamped the sentiment and added a few gems on a kraft card base. Challenges: Cards for Guyz #330 - Poppies/Remembrance  The Flower Challenge #84 - Use a Die

Christmas Pudding

I'll confess, I hate christmas pudding. But this image from pollycraft is adorable. I coloured with my promarkers and stamped the sentiment. I used papers from make and create, layered on a dark red card base and of course I had to add gems because I can't help myself! Challenges:  Alphabet Challenge - K is for Kitchen (anything food related) The Holly and the Ivy #147 - Anything Christmas Goes

Happy Holidays

This adorable little mouse came from loubyloo and he was coloured with my promarkers.  The papers are from a hobbycraft pack called 'the toyshop' (I resisted hard using the dinosaur papers, but they wouldn't really have gone with the card) and I just typed and printed the sentiment.  The ornament was cut on my silhouette cameo and I added a little twine bow and some gems (shocking I know) to finish.  Challenges: My Time to Craft #515 - Use Die Cuts My Time to Craft Christmas #68 - Ornaments Passion for Markers #706 - Christmas in September

Cupcake Birthday

So yesterday I posted this  very pink and girly card for my friends daughter, with whom she shares a birthday. Today, the card I made for her friend, who is the very opposite. She likes black and more black, lol. I used this adorable image from tiddlyinks, coloured with my promarkers and added some black ink around the edges. The papers are DCWV's Blackcurrent stack, on a black card base. I printed the sentiment and cut the flourish on my silhouette and finished with gems and flowers from my stash. Fairy Birthday

One of my friends shares her birthday with her daughter next week. I'll be making my friends card in the next few days, but I made this one for her (almost 6 year old) daughter first. Despite my friend (and most of her immediate circle) being not remotely girly... dresses 95% in black/grey, rarely wears skirts etc... her daughter has somehow turned out to be a proper little girly-girl who loves pink and dresses and make up and tiaras. I used an image from pollycraft coloured with my promarkers and created the sentiment myself. The papers are from an old set by helz cuppleditch, called Fun Fair, layered on a purple card base. I found a pearlesent star in my stash that was a perfect size to go over the start on her wand, so of course I had to add that! and a little pink/white twine and some pink pearls to finish.  Challenges: Passion for Markers #705 - Make it Feminine Pearly Sparkles Challenge #88 - Use at least one: Pink , Pearls and/or Sparkle Happy Little Stampers ...

have a very merry christmas

This cute little snowman is from looby-loo, as is the sentiment. The papers are from make and create 'the night before christmas' on a blue card base and the snowflake is a brad from my stash, and a bit of twine. Poinsetta X-Mas

This lovely poinsetta was a freebie from beccy's place many years ago, it's been sat, coloured waiting in my draw for ages to be used. The papers from a craft sensations pack, on a kraft card base. I added twine and some small red pearls, and stamped the sentiment, which I think came with a magazine freebie set years ago. honestly, the only part of this card that is 'new' is the papers, the rest has lived in my stash for at least a couple of years, so great to get to use them now. Coffee & Friends

As any one who knows me will tell you I love coffee. Like, I'm fully aware I drink too much, I just don't care, lol! And luckily for me, several of my friends are just as obsessed, so this coffee cup shaped card cut on my silhouette won't sit unused for too long. The papers are from my minds eye, the sentiment from stamping up and the image from digi darla, coloured of course with my promarkers.
