Happy Holidays

I love this old stitchy bear stamps image, it's just so pretty. I coloured it with my promarkers. I stamped the greeting with black and then gold ink just off-center.

The papers were from the First Edition Gilded Winter pack. I deckled the edges with scissors and added some gold ink, crumpling the paper before flattening it again.

The die cuts were cut on my cameo. They were originally grey card, so I used gold ink on them and a few gems to finish it all off.

  5. Hey! I saw a glimpse of this when commenting on another posting of yours. Here's why this one caught my eye. I own The Fairy and The Unicorn challenge blog that is an anything goes fantasy topic themed competition. Your image made me think of Little Red Riding Hood and the disguised wolf. But then I also own FarmQuest General Store challenge blog that is an anything farm or country goes topic themed competition. The wolves are part of the country/outdoors/woods/forest/mountains kind of topics we love to see. Take a look and hopefully we will see your artistry shared at these. --Becca

Tinsel in a Tangle

I just love this cute image and sentiment from Jan's digital stamp shop, I've had it printed forever just waiting to be used. Coloured with my promarkers. The paper is from the Classic Christmas Pad from make&create. I added some twine, gems and a couple of light bulb embellishments. Warm Wishes

The sketch from Jingle Belles immediately caught my eye this week and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I cut the circle and hexagon on my cameo, on kraft card and papers from hobbycraft, but the cup is fussy cut from stampin up's perfect blend set. I used white base, kraft card over the cup parts and a spare scrap of paper for the sleeve. The sentiment was from a Marianne Design set I got in a magazine a million years ago. This is probably the first time in ages I've made a card without using my promarkers or without... adding gems! *gasp* - I honestly planned too, but I thought it didn't really need them. Have A Great Day

How cute is this wee pupper from digi doodle shop. I've had him cut out waiting for me to decide what to do with him for aaaaages! I finally coloured him with my promarkers and decided on this side stepper card. The various elements were cut on my cameo. The paper is from the Nit Wit Paws-ativity collection. I stamped and cut the sentiment by hand and added it to the tree with a bit of twine, to make it look kinda like a swing (and it does swing, side to side at least, lol).
