First Time in a While

 So I haven't updated this thing in forever, honestly, I've not done much crafting in a while and when I have I haven't bothered to publish or enter in challenges. But lately, I've felt like I want to get back into it more regularly - I've been struggling with mental health and crafting was one of the things I loved that really helped with that at one point, so I'm hoping that it can help me now.

Since it's been such a long time, I had a look for a few challenges to help me get the mojo going. My first attempt we won't even talk about (no really, lol) but this one I was happy enough with considering it's probably at least a year since I've touched any of my craft stuff in any serious way.

    I'm so pleased you were able to get back to crafting with this clean and simple holiday card. I love your sweet little owl who fits in with the sketch perfectly!! I hope you find your crafty mojo keeps on flowing now and that crafting, and the crafting community, helps you as you continue to get back into the crafting world. How cute is this wee pupper from digi doodle shop. I've had him cut out waiting for me to decide what to do with him for aaaaages! I finally coloured him with my promarkers and decided on this side stepper card. The various elements were cut on my cameo. The paper is from the Nit Wit Paws-ativity collection. I stamped and cut the sentiment by hand and added it to the tree with a bit of twine, to make it look kinda like a swing (and it does swing, side to side at least, lol). Meowy Christmas Kitty

  I picked this from All Dressed Up after winning two of their beautiful images from an Outlawz challenge. Friends of mine just got a new kitten and this will be perfect for them for xmas. I coloured the image with my promarkers and used papers from hobbycrafts traditional chrismtas pack. The stocking embellishment came from the matching embellishment set. The sentiment was stamped from a set I was given a while ago. A couple of men's cards...

This first one was made for my brother in law, who is a keen bowler. My sister, spends her summers complaining she's a bowls widow normally - this year she might just wish she was, lol! I got the fab image from Polkadoodles, coloured with my promarkers. The paper is from Jen Hadfield, on a kraft card base. Challenges: - A Bit More Time To Craft Challenge - #114, Anything Goes - Daisy Chain Challenge - #40, Birthday This one could do for several of my friends, I have a lot of gamers in my life, not sure how that happened, as until a few years ago I'd never owned a gaming system (yes I now own a PS3 and 4). I cut the die on my silhouette and the papers came from papermania's happy days pack. A bit of blue ribbon from my stash and a sentiment stamp from teddy bo & co, coloured in the buttons with promarkers just to round it off.
