  Since I'm making cards again my mum is taking full advantage and asked for a birthday card for a friend. The only things I really know about her is she likes cats and flowers so... cats and flowers it is. The Stamp is from Penny Johnson, I've had it for probably a few years and it had never seen ink before. I coloured it with my promarkers. I used a new make and create vintage dreams pad I picked up in the works today, on a blue card base. A flourish cut on my silhouette cameo and twine, flowers and pearls as added embellishments.   So As You Like It's current challenge is Favourites, Gingham or Florals (and why) which was incredibly easy for me to answer, Gingham. I am not a girly girl, so I've never been into florals over much. Gingham, checkered and plaids however, now that's my jam. I own so many gingham and plaid shirts, I'm not even kidding. My basic every day uniform is some variation of jeans, tee and either a shirt or hoodie, depending on how cold it is and all my shirts are gingham or plaid.  I used a Pollycraft digi, coloured with my promarkers. Paper from dovecrafts 'krafty christmas' pack and a bit of ribbon from my stash.   I often... avoid, the colour pink, when I can. I'm just not a pink girl. I've used it of course for friends and family who are, but it's not a natural choice for me. However this weeks palette on colour throwdown inspired me, so pink it is, along with aqua, yellow and lime. The image was a craft sensations stamp. Coloured with my promarkers. Can't remember where the sentiment came from. The paper is an old Fancy Pants pack. A bit of twine, and a few gemstones finished it off.  So I haven't updated this thing in forever , honestly, I've not done much crafting in a while and when I have I haven't bothered to publish or enter in challenges. But lately, I've felt like I want to get back into it more regularly - I've been struggling with mental health and crafting was one of the things I loved that really helped with that at one point, so I'm hoping that it can help me now. Since it's been such a long time, I had a look for a few challenges to help me get the mojo going. My first attempt we won't even talk about (no really, lol) but this one I was happy enough with considering it's probably at least a year since I've touched any of my craft stuff in any serious way. I used the sketch from CAS Colours & Sketches. I'd also like to enter it for: Crafty Gals Corner - #245 Christmas in July Hope to get back to some sort of regular posting here!  Kez
