Coffee and Friends

A few days ago, when I was planning on going to the hospital to get my ankle checked, I was chatting to my friend K online about how busy A&E was likely to be. She suggested that if it was too busy, go to Starbucks and go back in an hour... assuming my friend T who was taking me to the hospital wouldn't mind coffee (they've never actually met), which surely not given she was a friend of mine!

Funny story... my friend T does drink coffee... but she didn't when we met a few years ago. In fact she hated even the smell... I would claim innocence, but I know I'm partly responsible for the turn around! And I'm rather proud of that! lol!



The card base if kraft, the stamp is from stampin up, stamped twice, one on design paper and cut out.

The circles are from the same paper pack which is The Good Life  from fancypantsdesigns. And of course a few gems, because gems.

This card was somewhat hampered by my cat stealing my seat when I stood up to pick my design paper, then sitting on my knee when I removed her from said seat... she's now sat on my foot stool. Apparently today she's going to be my little sticky plaster.

    A girl after my own heart....a cup of coffee is always a great idea. Coffee has a very powerful ability to turn even the biggest coffee haters into coffee lovers. Not sure how, but the I had the same experience with coffee myself. Loved the smell, hated the flavor, now morning does not begin till I have consumed a lot of coffee. How cute is this wee pupper from digi doodle shop. I've had him cut out waiting for me to decide what to do with him for aaaaages! I finally coloured him with my promarkers and decided on this side stepper card. The various elements were cut on my cameo. The paper is from the Nit Wit Paws-ativity collection. Meowy Christmas Kitty

  I picked this from All Dressed Up after winning two of their beautiful images from an Outlawz challenge. Friends of mine just got a new kitten and this will be perfect for them for xmas. I coloured the image with my promarkers and used papers from hobbycrafts traditional chrismtas pack. The stocking embellishment came from the matching embellishment set. The sentiment was stamped from a set I was given a while ago. A couple of men's cards...

This first one was made for my brother in law, who is a keen bowler. My sister, spends her summers complaining she's a bowls widow normally - this year she might just wish she was, lol! I got the fab image from Polkadoodles, coloured with my promarkers. The paper is from Jen Hadfield, on a kraft card base. Challenges: - A Bit More Time To Craft Challenge - #114, Anything Goes - Daisy Chain Challenge - #40, Birthday This one could do for several of my friends, I have a lot of gamers in my life, not sure how that happened, as until a few years ago I'd never owned a gaming system (yes I now own a PS3 and 4). I cut the die on my silhouette and the papers came from papermania's happy days pack. A bit of blue ribbon from my stash and a sentiment stamp from teddy bo & co, coloured in the buttons with promarkers just to round it off.
